The trailer for Ricky Gervais’ new movie, “The Invention Of Lying,” about a world in which everyone tells the truth. Remember the first time you got high with the funniest person you know? This is that to the 10,000th power.Last Summer I was lucky enough to go visit this set (It was still called “The Other Side of the Truth” back then) and I had the best day ever. I met and interviewed Ricky Gervais, my comedy hero. I met, interviewed and sweated on Jennifer Garner. And then I went to Rob Lowe’s trailer to finish an interview with him when the most amazing thing happened. He was changing out of his wardrobe and it was raining outside. He took his shirt off and there was a huge flash of lightening and a massive thunderclap. It was thrilling. I also got to fly to Boston on the Delta shuttle which made me feel important.
The scene I watched being filmed was hysterical and I think this movie will be incredible.
